well i think it has narrowed it a bit... things like vimeo or youtube or blogs are out you're looking for a picture upload site. may not even be a v mainstream one :S

Perhaps he's uploaded the same image to all the usual sites, under the same username? Which sites allow you to search by uploader? Flickr does, any others?

I don't think so - he's only really sent images to us via email. I couldn't find a way to search by account on Picasa - anyone else find a way?

Edit: after reading Colin's most recent post. I read it as person, rather than image. The image might just have a random name, or an anagram.

well that site's about people finding cameras or photos people dropped and uploading them here so that they can be seen by everyone and maybe someone will know who they are

guys just incase you weren't aware there's a way of using google to search through a site without having to go to the site itself ... say for example you were searching for Gerry Spearman on photobucket you go to google and type "site:photobucket.com Gerry Spearman" and it does it for ya

O.k. I am on flickr tried usernames such as andy ellis spearman etc. Now breaking it down by upload date. Only a million images were uploaded between 26-27. Shouldn't take that long Wink

http://www.someoneoncetoldme.com/ is a site that featured on derrens blogs - where people take a photo of themselves and write a message on a bit of paper - but they can also record audio onto it too

This Photobucket account is registered under the name of namraeps. It doesn't lead to anything but I think that we need to include lateral thinking in our searches.
