Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
15:51 is a palindromic time...
Spearman's e-mail was send at 6:56pm (also palindromic)
Is palindromic even a word?....

Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
Hi guys,
Not wanting to interfere, but I've just set up a thread in the "clues" section for this 3:31 clock - could we continue the conversation over there?
https://dbchat.forumotion.co.uk/current-puzzles-clues-f5/aspmcpojpg-clock-showing-331-t31.htm
Cheers,
Colin

Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
Right, here's a summary of my thoughts (may have been stolen from people here so please do take credit!!):
- "Can't talk now", I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date - what happened in 1531? Wikipedia has given me nothing
- Should we be reversing the clock?
- Is it 3:31 on a video (as mentioned above?)
- Page 331 / 133 in a book?

@ Francis - I popped your post on here. Nicely spotted. I don't think it's for nothing. Quite a coincidence if it is. Do we have any palindromic (yes it is a word) dates looming?

Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
Sorry to rain on anyone's parade, I was sent the email today (some naughty person put my number in and delayed my entry). The time was 13:59, which isn't palindromic .

You will receive the email tomorrow, you should receive two. If you want it today you could ask your friends to forward it on, it's the same email for everyone

Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
Well I posted this earlier to do with the clock.
The entry page had a triangle (which was an optical illusion triangle with a special name) meaning infinity.
The top of the triangle had a 3 and a Q and 17.
Assuming all the sides had to be equal (q being the 17th letter of the alphabet) then it was 17 and 17 at the bottom and a three at the top. leaving us needing to find the rest which was 14. (this was yesterday so I had no idea if 14 would be connected to anything.
The email had 3.31 as a time on it. If you took our triangle as 3.17 for the values it had on it and you look at the email, that was 14 minutes more on the email pic. (this was today)
Maybe a duff clue but I wonder what happens if you went through any text and highlighted the letter N , being the 14th letter of the alphabet?

Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
Thanks for the numbers, just going to have a peel through them. Hannah, why not give it a try? I've phoned several numbers before - just an answerphone for one - and an 014 prefix jogs a memory. Just do a 141 so they can't trace you if it's some old lady, ooops.
Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
A quick search shows 01452 is the Gloucester area code- but you have 12 numbers there...
Maybe call a few times, leaving out a different number each time? You'll notice I'm too chicken to try it myself!

Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
I'll do it if no one else wants to. I'm at home, so no one spies on me.
Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
Shite, my email isn't letting me log in just now. I've been hopping to and fro between my accounts and now it's just not allowing me back in. I hope I can get in at some point! Will someone fling a post up if anything happens, ta.

Tried it. Unobtainable. Also took (20) out as it might have worked with the century taken out. Nope.
Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
Back to the clock... nikki_watt just had a stroke of genius in another thread:
Could it be referring to 31st march? Just checked, and March does have 31 days!nikki_watt wrote:ok random thought here... since we are going on alice in wonderland, been skimming through book chapter 7 is a mad hatter tea party, and the interesting bit is this...... Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
has anybody got the second email pointing to the time of 3.15 or 15.15 this isn't palandromic but kinda close... it says "We've got our eye on you - we know what you're up to. Don't believe >everything you read from Spearman. This will help you much more" i've done a quick lookup of the email address and some interesting searches ahve come up
Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)

Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)

Re: 1st email from Spearman - "Help required - SOLOS (3:31 clock)
Fraid I did have a wee larf at the 120 degrees, soz.
So, what about the times being longitudinal and latitudinal on a compass (thanks to justapix's anagramming of the second file name?) Or maybe they are segments and we have to calculate degrees?
