it was the clearest i could make it if anyone is better with computers than me please try to help! but from what i can see it says put ______ & _________ & wall
Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
Hannah, if you can quickly explain the connection to Neumann we can perhaps all help you find some further info.
Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
IF the map says Neumann:
Max Neumann worked on codes in WWII, though Abeo's comments about people in the game not being related to real people, it leads me to believe that it may not be a viable lead (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Newman)

I got the impression that the box or cube can be viewed as being in several different orientations depending on how you look at it. Not sure if that ties in with anything yet though
Indeed. It seems our box is a variation of the Necker Cube Illusion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necker_Cube

Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
Hmmm, maybe not, but it may still be related to codebreaking.
Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
well gary newmann was based around london so it's circling the right point
Spearman's three poster pictures on Twitter
It's just part of a clue, I think, but it's solved nonethethess so let's put it here:
Spearman:

Spearman:
By solving the first of my riddles, you have shown me that you are able. In return, I have shown you what you are needed for. Now I need you to show me that you are willing. I need you to send a message to the world. I've put it where many other people also put their images. Can you find it?

Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
Should we just be focusing on the location? He obviously circled greater London. He is going to be in touch later today about the message, so it might be tied in to that.
Remember last weekend, we had the end of the round for the weekend. Maybe this is the end of round 2!

Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
How do we know what to focus on?! There is a word right next to the circle and it might be a clue for all I know. We also have davemoses co-ordinates which are near, so maybe there is a Greek coin connection seeing as we have been translating Greek. I think it's a quite logical path, even if it eventually leads us nowhere.
Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
I;m shite at map reading, so I'm trying to work out what I can myself possibly manage.
Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
if this has been posted anywhere else Im sorry for reapeating.
Looks like where the map came from. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:First.Crusade.Map.jpg

Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
would there be a reason that he is using an old map to do with the first crusade??? the first crusade started in 1095!!! is that another clue in itself as he could have just used a normal map?? obviously we will find out when we get next email??? im just wondering if we have any ideas before it comes???

cleaned it up a bit more by playing with the gamma levels on the jpg
put/pole - Pdi - ?peg _ & game/gone _ abling/ ablig & Wall. but may be Path as last word
used photo flair image enhancing software but I have never used it before so someone might get better results
and of course we may be supposed to be reading the words backwards starting with wall or path etc.

And btw, wasn't there a running gag regarding a Box during the Enigma-tour? Can't remember what that was about, but that's what I connect to "The Box".
Better shut up now. Wrong team!
We're all in it together!
Was kidding, sorry. But I cannot remember what that Box story was about.
