It's also a reference to Alice in Wonderland
Plus there's the little Derren next to it, Alice was shrunk too

This fits in with my theories on the box; perhaps we 'know' about the box as in, we know it isn't there.

Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
should we all email spearman that we have found it or, is that he knows that we know enough???
Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
The box also ties in with the penrose triangle when we first entered the comp.

Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
What's circled on the map? I can't work out the writing!!
Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
Here are my thoughts on the equation:
The left-hand side looks like rw - could also look like an upper case 'gamma' and lower case 'omega' , spelling out "Go".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_alphabet
Also, some names for you:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_de_Neumann
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Newman
Busy - can't discuss!!

How Francis?
Oh I've emailed him too. Generic response - but then I didn't send him an interesting email.
Re: Poster task - send your message to the world

Yeah.. the link is somewhere else in this thread I think. Apparently it is just a coincidence and we are not to bother Richard Wiseman about it.

I've also changed both Twitter and Facebook profile pictures to The Box and friends will probably think I'm off my rocker

As far as I remember: thanks to the hundreds of people who spammed Richard Wisemans FB page with "I'm from Derren Browns Army, and I know about the box", the Derren Brown FB page was closed for a day or two by the FB team.
Might have something to do with something RW has blogged or written about, but nothing pops up in my memory right now

Where did you get omega from?
Re: Poster task - send your message to the world
The gamma function can be seen as a solution to the following interpolation problem: find a smooth curve that connects the points given by \scriptstyle y = 1 \cdot 2 \cdots x = x! at the positive integers. A plot of the first few factorials makes clear that such a curve can be drawn (for example by hand), but it would be preferable to have a formula that precisely describes the curve.
In case it's useful.

JK you may as well have written that in Japanese or something because I have noo idea WHAT to make of that!!

Not very well I'll admit, but they are both shapes which appear 3 dimensional, and are kind of optical illusions - the lines inside the triangle interweave and the cube doesn't have any edges but we still create the image of in our heads.
Hardly profound I know

I got the impression that the box or cube can be viewed as being in several different orientations depending on how you look at it. Not sure if that ties in with anything yet though

Losing my posts!
I got the Gamma Omega from the map http://www.flickr.com/photos/70958677@N00/4058027492/sizes/o/
And as Hannah says, it spells GO
