Poster task - send your message to the world

I've done some research on the book that the map is from; Firstly, it's out of print and hard to get hold of (a perfect candidate for DB's library if you ask me ), so what are the chances that the annotations on the page are going to be something written just for this ARG? The writing doesn't look superimposed to me, so it may just be that the writing was already in the book when Spearman uploaded the scan/picture.

More on this Marrakech cruade connection if it's anything to do with anything. I dunno yet, but I'm getting it down on paper anyway for reference.

And this is a PDF with some Crusade info too. Just trying to connect London and Marrakech and the ancient map. I don't think it says Neumann. I think it says nerunaun maybe?

the word between the & looks like the German "ganzzahlig" (whole numbered). Would tie in with John von Neumann being a mathematician and working with functions like the one on the picture. I try to get more on that that makes sense...

Probably better to adjust the levels and remove the background might give slightly higher clarity on the writing. I have tried a little bit but I am pretty rubbish with Photoshop.

It was going on about the curves and whatnot, and when i found that gamma link, it had a lot about that! So yer, it'll be interesting to see what you can do with the picture!!

Would we be left with the light and the colour focusing in a kind of triangular shape? Like, if it falls in on itself, this pyramid structure is the basic structure that keeps everything held up/supported. (Look, I know it sounds batty, but click on the piccie at the right in the wikipedia page on delta function and you might see what I mean. I am going mad - since Firefox installed the new version, my Mac is crashing like a fucker!)

I thought it might be foreign. I thought it said fide as well and not file... dunno... Ta

changing the gamma does not do a great deal, makes it slightly easier to read is all but not quite enough

I think that it reads sort of like this

put /pole/file then a word that looks like it ends in i but thats a mark on the image there are others like it on the jpg

so put/pole/file then that word then bracket (meg & game/gone/ e ability/ablig) & wall/Path/ or something else entirely but the brackets seem to be there after the ablig word and before the & symbol. The first & is deffinately there also tried holding the TFT screen on this t an angle which adjusts the various levels with playing in photo editing

oooooooo also try turning the photo negative - i did it on my phone and it works really well but it would be much better in photoshop cause it cuts out all the variant colour chatter
