Time is running backwards and there are 16 mins between 3.31 and 3.15 and there are 7 mins between 3.15 and 2.08 - a total of 23 mins.
Erm, 1 hour and 7 minutes Wink

in reference to time running backwards, i'm pretty sure that for most of the through the looking glass time is running backwards and alice has to look into a mirror to tell the time ... long shot but maybe we need to flip the pictures :S

I think we're on to something with the whole backwards / flipping / mirror thing. Given the events and blog posts etc, it would be silly to ignore it completely.

Maybe the compass bearing should be backwards as well

I had to do some NLP for work. They're always banging on about how 'the map is not the territory', meaning that our perception of reality isn't the same as everyone elses, or the map itself.

“The simulacrum is never that which conceals the truth - it is the truth which conceals that there is none. The simulacrum is true.”

Does anyone know what this means i found it on the Derren brown wed site

Mirrored, the time is 9.52 if N is 12

If N is 3, then it's 4.22 or, if you want to 'pretend 3 is 12 o'clock, then it'll be 1.07.

What are the important times in Alice?

James
It's a quote referring to the book Simulacra & Simulation, by Jean Baudrillard (which I'm currently reading - abit difficult to get your head round!), which is about society being materialistic and, in fact simulated with symbols, signs and code, meaning that reality isn't real (if that makes sense). Basically, the quote on the site just meant that the ARG had kicked off.

JayKay... in chapter VII of alice in wonderland her and the mad hatter have a long conversation about time where the hatter reveals that time isn't a thing it's a HIM! and that if you are nice to it it can be manipulated http://www.aliceinwonderland.com/ch7.html worth a thought but probably nothing
