Spearman voicemail clue - "Get out of Oxford"

It's not him ON the voicemail, the people are saying to tell us that spearman wants us to get out of oxford as if they're being given orders by him,

I do hope this puzzle has a happy ending or else i may end up in a padded cell

we think the clocks are a compass, we think oxford so we use the clocks to get outof it, there is no point in haveing a compass bearing unless we know where to use it from. we need i think to separate them out and follow them both individually.

anyway my message was from lox, i'm getting help to post it (thanx lairyt and colin rocks)

I've just listened to the message and it is hard to make out the background voice but to me I can't help thinking it sounds like a hostage message. It's the way he says "i've been told to tell you" and the frantic pushy sound of the woman in the background. What does anyone else think. May be I've been watching to many thriller movies!

It does sound like she is in charge a bit yeah, and he seems uncertain of what to say.
Helen's voicemail, which Colin will upload in a bit, it completely different and says that Gerry Spearman has been sacked from a company called Solos (pronounced So loss) and that we are to report him if he makes any contact. The guy says he is Darkmanlox but he has exactly the same voice as the guy on the other recording with the woman. ??????????????????

Just thought I should tell you guys what I heard from the messaage

mine from mister lox sounds like traffic or a train station but his voice isn't echoing,

Is there any way we can isolate the two voices in this message?

That's "spearman said oxfordshire, get out!".

I'm filtering it to make her voice clearer, will upload soon, this is what I have for her at this point:

"Get out! Just hurry up and tell them... ???? hurry up will you say it get out of Oxford... ??? ?? get out of Oxford. GO! ... Spearman said Oxfordshire, get out. Hurry up Spearman says get out of Oxford"

Everything at the mo is pointing to Spearman being the 'bad' guy, isn't it? Wonder why?

Sounds to me actually like the woman is getting the guy to talk to us and that they are in a hurry, so maybe they are part of Spearman's 'we need your help' and they were calling from somewhere before doing a runner before they were caught??

it seems like the order of power goes, Spearman, then the lady, then the man but who the fudge are these randomers?

Tried to post this response a minute ago but didn't work

Anyway, all I was saying was that to me it sounds like the girl on the phone is quite threatening, as if she is perhaps forcing the guy to say that against his will? I don't see what sense that really makes towards anything else, but was just the impression I got after listening to it!
