Spearman voicemail clue - "Get out of Oxford"

No improvements from my previous transcript for the female voice:

"Get out! Just hurry up and tell them... ???? hurry up will you say it get out of Oxford... ??? ?? get out of Oxford. GO! ... Spearman said Oxfordshire, get out. Hurry up Spearman says get out of Oxford"

the oxfordshire bit's quite big :S

Male voice is more obvious, but just to save anyone else typing it out I have:

"Um er hi sorry. Who am I sup.. who am I supposed to be talking to? Um .. I've been told to tell you to get out of Oxford. Um alright.."

I don't think we should be listening to the man because he's too obvious :S On the other one with Mr.Lox can you make the background clearer on that? there may be something there?

Just in from work and have missed all the fun today

I had a missed call from a withheld no yesterday at 18:40, who knows if it was to do with the comp?

But i'm back on the hunt - 5 Day's off now!!!!

Wow griping stuff getting voicemail! I agree that maybe we are looking to hard at this, but at the same time there is alot of clues pointing to Oxford hopefully more clues will be able to make this clearer, I hope so!

I thought the woman sounded American! she also sounds like she's definitely wearing the trousers. Maybe she got Spearman fired?

We haven't actually heard from Spearman. That phone call could well have come from Lox's people! The man and woman in the message are talking about Spearman, rather than Spearman himself talking.

From his emails, he sounds like a rather well-do-do gent to me!

oooo I didnt think of that. Sneaky! I suppose it would give Lox an excuse to call and mention that Spearman was fired while also asking that they are contacted if he does ever leave a genuine message.

Finally, I've caught up with one thread at least - phew! I agree, we don't know who has phoned us. To me it sounds like the woman is telling him to say stuff and he's pissed off, not a hostage. I'm going to listen again to both again. Is Helen's on this thread or another - can't remember? When he called me, he sounded really pissed off with all the shouting in the background, 'Stop shouting will you, stop shouting!'. It was a longer call than Collin's, same guy. We may have our clues, who knows. Maybe we didn't look in the wrong place? Maybe we found what we needed to for one of them at least and we have to get back somewhere else quickly. The woman does sound like she's from Bristol - there are connections with Derren if I can remember rightly in TOTM (got my book back from my neighbour!) and there's Bristol Zoo and the giraffe house there (dunno if a new one has been built though, must check). This will all prob be on another thread, so forgive me, I will catch up and post my Lox emails too.

Don't judge a book by its cover though. Just because Helen's guy sounds like a gent...

There's also a parrot sanctuary at Bristol zoo.

Just a point really - both voice mail recipients were on orange network judging by the answerphone voice and both left ,messages but did not answer their phones. Why was this and has anyone had a live convo with them?

I've posted already on a couple of threads that I took the call. I'm not sure if it was a recording - sounded live, though he didn't immediately speak and he never answered my questions. I'm on Orange too.

So in a totally disgusting way totally illeagle i would imagine but if someone works for orange here - they could in theory - look at your accounts and see what the number was on all of them. Safe to say to keep costs down they have orange as well - just a disgusting outside the box thought lol

Loads are with orange. I don't suppose they have to save 25p.

I'm not desperate for an i-phone, so I haven't jumped ship.

ok first there is no such thig as a westcountry accent. there are 6 in devon and 4 in cornwall for a start but i would say it sounds bath/trowbridge/south bristol to me shall we try bristol then?

So you think this might just be aimed (so far) at mobile numbers on the Orange network? Damn, I'm with Vodafone.....

pants im o2!!! but that seems silly , why woud they do that???

I don't think they are only targeting Orange. There are only 4 or so main networks - the chances of the people they called being on them are pretty high
