bah! I don't mind getting tricky riddles, but it would be nice to actually be able to READ the riddle....

so... as far as I understand what we need to figure out is

1) why an old map?
2) what does the Gamma equation have to do with it?
3) the location (London?)
4) Newmann/Neumann?
5) the writing under the equation = Pick Bdi (neg&ganzzhalig)&wall (???)

Just checked with the ARG crew, and we're okay to put up posters:

If you want to put a poster up in relation to this game, that's fine - just don't put it up somewhere illegal, harass anyone into doing anything for you, or leave litter. If you cannot find a legal location for your poster that doesn't cost you money then please let me know.
I'm not confirming that this is a puzzle solution, but as long as you keep it legal and safe, then it's ok to give it a shot.

..we're (well, Team Spearman ) supposed to look for something that links all three of the posters - for me, the sense of a revolution and freedom came to mind: the lil squid thing flying away, the mock-up of Che Guevara, the anti-war music event with the political(?) poster with it..

Been trying to think of a connection to the number '8' since the Octomum post on the blog. It stayed up for ages and seemed out of place somehow. Couldn't make out what the little purple thing was

Yeah - gamma omega - that's the start of the equation, I just said G O. Aero found out that it's the gamma equation.

Right, just catching up on everything. Have been able to enlarge the map by 400% - above equation it def says Gamma. Got some of the equation but can't put the greek letters on here. Words underneath are not clear but look (to me) like 'ride' as the first one, 'wall/hall' as the last one. Two '&' signs and the word 'game'.
The name next to the corcled part of England looks like 'Newmaum' but the writing is a bit dodgy.

So are we definitely putting these posters up somewhere public and emailing SPearman a photo? Can you please confirm if I have to do anything else, like let Spearman know I have seen the images or change my profile pic on Twitter/FB like some of you have to the box pic?
