I'm reposting this in a better place than I put it earlier, though I dunno where's best to talk about what?!


I've got 2 mins to post as I'm out and about all day. I suddenly thought about the info on Estabrooks and the bit about the fake dismissal of the 'manchurian candidate'. I'm thinking maybe Spearman is Andy and he doesn't know it.

Also, another thought, Ellis said that Spearman was practically waiting for her/his email and got right back. Now that might also mean that Spearman could be Andy, or it could also mean that Spearman is the one doing the hypnosis, if that's what's happening.

I keep looking for twists, I've been expecting more than 'Andy is kidnapped...' That's why I keep going off at tangents; I dunno if it's that simple. Maybe it is as simple as he's been kidnapped and hypnotised..?

I was SO late to this task.

Perhaps two separate sub-forums for Lox and Spearman teams? Also, maybe sections for official emails/tweets, completed tasks, ongoing clues and theories within each sub-forum?

Soz guys, but I have long hard days ahead of me and homework at night, so I'm really to keep up tonight and am sitting low with my daft theories till I've totally caught up. Anyone got that meso generator that the Lox team are using. I have about 6 pages still to read and haven't found it yet and I want to have something to think about at lunchytime tomorrow. Ta.

I thought that Ellis was a girl, too, but I guess whoever is doing the Box blog would know, and they called him "him". But I'm pretty sure that Ellis = Alice, with the whole Wonderland theme.

So, what we think about the story here is that Lox is running the dodgy organisation SOLOS, who are interested in manipulating people's minds and have possibly kidnapped Andy. Spearman and Box-website-person are trying to overthrow SOLOS. It makes sense for Spearman to want us, his 'army' for want of a better word, to be in on the happenings and help him in his quest. What I don't understand is where this leaves the Loxians. Why would Lox want a whole bunch of people to be in on this, especially seeing as he seems to be trying to stop information getting out (such as with his denial of "get out of Oxford")? So far, he seems to be leading his followers a merry dance (pun intended, but I feel a bit ashamed). I hope for their sakes that he's not planning to use them as his experimental subjects!
