JayKay - I got a call too, but don't think I gave my number out to anyone, except for buying a poster, signing up, etc. I was wondering who the poeple on the phone might be - was yours the "get out of oxford" call?

When did you guys get the phone call?

There have only been two reported voicemail messages, one from two people commenting on behalf of Spearman and one from someone claiming to be Mr. Lox from Solos. Have you received a third voicemail message? If so, can you please upload it for everyone to hear. I don't know who believes that the Andy character has left a voicemail message, I haven't seen any comments pertaining to that opinion before the above quote.

Don't worry, it's the original ones, no new ones! Yes, I got the get out of Oxford call. I was however also pushing that Alice and Wonderland thing to the limit when the answers for the early stage of the game were to do with the shows and thought at the time, shit, I'm on the wrong track - which I was. That might be the case, but there seem to still be a few Oxford leftovers (Ellis going there) and so maybe it was a warning from Andy or whomever to be careful or a warning from Lox to get out of the way - as well as a big hint to get off that clue track. I dunno. I'm just wondering if we offer to help and supply contact details, not assuming that Spearman or Lox have them, then we might find that they do get in touch with us. I haven't just blatantly flung it in an email; I've wrapped it in the context of other communications.

My call wasn't a voicemail, I took the call.

So what exactly did they say to you in the call? And what else did you hear?

I'm curious about this "Get out of Oxford" thing. Cos Ellis also said that she'd gone to Oxford and found nothing. But that's kinda suspicious isn't it? I mean, why would she actually go? And why would she tell us she found nothing there? Would she really make that effort when she's so busy looking for Andy. so tired etc? What are the chances that she was trying to throw us off track? I mean, there clearly IS an Oxford link. And some people clearly don't want us to be there. It seems Ellis may e on that side. or she just missed something... but in terms of game play, why would she bother 'reporting' that?

Well I think she (if it is a she and it's not Andy) might have let slip to us that (if he is Andy) that he's not in Marrakech.

My call - I know you're still catching up, don't worry - was the same as the other guys', except that it went on longer, the caller shouted to get out of Oxford several times and in-between he was yelling, quite perturbed, for the shouting to stop, please. I didn't really hear shouting, though there was background noise, like a market or something and traffic - sounded like the Arc de Triomphe area actually, I remember thinking. I was on Commercial Road in Whitechapel, so I heard busy streets and traffic in all ears. You, know, all twenty ears that I have, haha!

JayKay - eh? I thought the call was from 2 of spearman's friends, saying "spearman says: get out of oxford" because we had come to the conclusion the clocks (and Lox's name) pointed towards a landmark on Oxford.

Did you mean you think the lady was Ellis? I thought Andy told Ellis to find Spearman, and she didn't even know if he existed, so I doubt she'd be calling us to relay a message from him previously. I have been wondering who the guy and girl are though... friends of Spearmans, maybe SOLOS employees?

Colinrocks, Ellis sounds like a woman's name to me too, but I think everyone is thinking it's a man - espesh if we think it's Andy. I did think, as both names are androgynous, that both could be women and therefore the same person. However, Andy is referred to as a he by Ellis on the blog.

As far as the phonecall, I don't know who called. It's the same male voice as in the recorded calls, but I don't know if it's Andy, Ellis, Spearman or one of Lox's henchmen. There also seemed to be a woman in the background of my call, but the busy street I was in made it impossible for me to hear what she was saying. She seemed to be further away from him than in the other calls. Although the person - I assumed Andy - was yelling for the shouting to stop, it seemed he was irritated and couldn't concentrate or hear himself. She didn't seem to me to be that loud and at teh time, I got the feeling that he was irrational and even thought he might be hearing voices in his head. I did say some stuff about this earlier, but it wasn't that relevant at the time and I thought it might encourage us to think back again.

Gotta go to beddie now, up early for a long busy day in a theatre tomorrow being a lackey for a mate. Any more questions, please ask. I've tried to think back and be as clear as possible. In case we get swept up in another rampaging clue session (which I'll miss), you can pm me in case any post after this gets lost at sea. Nighty.
